Who is Papier Carbone?

The association

Copie Carbone is a non-profit organization based in Charleroi, dedicated to graphic design, printed images and micro-publishing.

The Papier Carbone festival has existed since 2016 — three editions (2016, 2018, 2019) each welcomed more than 2,000 visitors. After adapted formats during Covid (Web TV, exhibitions, fanzine library), the association was constituted as a non-profit organization in 2025 and established a partnership with FIG. (Liège). In parallel, Copie Carbone runs Fric et Crayons, a series of meetings on economic issues for graphic artists, and the Rendez-vous dessinés at the QG in Marcinelle.
